Role: Oracle Financials Functional Lead
Level: Principal Consultant

Our partners, senior associates and consultants are experienced professionals previously from boutique and large consulting firms and industry, with a collective experience of over 100+ engagements in the areas of process, strategy and enterprise solutions implementation. Our clients are both emerging market leaders and well known global brands in the online media, software and internet services industry. We typically engage with a PMO, IT or business functional operations group like Finance, Revenue Assurance and Sales providing project leadership, business functional and technology consulting expertise.
As part of our business applications consulting practice we are seeking Principal and Senior Senior Consultants to join our engagement team. The Principal/Senior Consultant will provide comprehensive management of a small to mid-size project (3-5 consultants + client team) or be functional/process track lead of a large project with minimal supervision including scope, work plan, team management, delivery, and client satisfaction.
In this role, the Principal/Senior Consultant will:

Be a functional/process lead of a project team and typically engage with a functional unit to analyze, design and document complex, cross-functional business systems and / or functions. |

Document and conduct business requirements analysis and as-is and to-be process mapping |
 |
Design and Configure business applications (ex: Oracle Order Mgmt, GL etc.) |
 |
Document test cases (based on the business requirements document & use cases) |
 |
Liaison with cross-functional business and IT teams in unit testing & validating the solution |
 |
Liaison with other business teams in facilitating conference room pilots & user acceptance tests and issue resolution/re-test |
 |
Documenting & reporting test results |
 |
Prepare Change Mgmt Material (training & user documentation as needed) & facilitate training/change Mgmt |
 |
Validate & facilitate migration/conversion plans working closely with the business teams |
 |
Support final prosduction cutover & migration activities with business team |
Must Have:
 |
Expertise in atleast 2-3 major functional and Oracle Applications in areas such as Order to Cash, Billing and Revenue, Procure to Pay and Record to Report |
 |
5 to 8 years of successful experience with 5 or more engagements in a functional/process lead role (consulting or industry) |
 |
Experience with project implementation lifecycle from analysis through testing and deployment and training |
 |
Good organization, communication, presentation and analytical skills |
 |
Good client relationship, team leadership and project management skills |
 |
Good MS Power Point and MS Excel tools skills |
 |
Strong client relationship skills, work ethics and teamwork |
 |
ndergraduate/Graduate degree from a leading university |
Strongly Prefer:
 |
Experience with major or boutique management/IT consulting firm and/or corporate business functional organization |
 |
Expertise in a specific functional area (ex: order to cash or billing and revenue management) with 5 or more successful engagements |
 |
Experience in online media/advertising or software/services industry vertical |
 |
Any relevant experience with change management and training would be a plus |
Duration: Full-Time or Contract (Initial 6 month commitment (extensions of 6 month increments)
Location: Nor.Cal (Silicon Valley)
