Rajiv Chopra - Founding Partner & CEO
Rajiv brings over 15 years of experience in professional consulting and entrepreneurship. In the last several years he has been primarily responsible for successfully building a full services consulting firm from the ground up. His expertise include practice management; strategic client acquisition and in developing and executing go-to market alliance strategies. Additionally, in client service he advices senior executives in the areas of IT strategic planning and governance and expertise on major business issues specific to high tech emerging and mid-market industry.
Prior to founding aquarius consulting group, Rajiv was a founding VP and member of the executive management team at Trianz Inc., a start up consulting firm based in Silicon Valley. At Trianz, he was fundamentally responsible in achieving triple digit year over year growth since 2003. His primary areas of leadership and contributions were in driving new client acquisition, creating and managing a global IT practice team of 60 and establishing the firm to be the # 1 consulting alliance partner for Oracle CRM in Northern California. Prior to Trianz, he spent 10 years with the former Big 5 consulting firms - Bearing Point (formerly KPMG Consulting) and Price Waterhouse Consulting where he had a very successful career in their High Tech Practice. He played significant roles in serving clients and contributed towards building the products solutions practice, which was focused around packaged applications like Oracle and Siebel.
Rajiv is an avid squash player and enjoys tennis, kayaking and golf and keenly follows trends with the software-as-a-service (saas) market space.
Rajiv holds an MBA from Texas Tech University.
Bharat Kumar - Founding Partner & COO
Bharat brings over 12 years of combined senior IT management and consulting experience serving many leading high tech global companies. Bharat is a recognized technology and business visionary with leadership and hands-on experience in standardizing and streamlining global business processes. Bharat was successful in executing many strategic initiatives with multi-million dollar budgets including highly scalable enterprise application infrastructures, 24x7 global application support and integrated web portals.
Prior to founding aquarius consulting group, Bharat served as the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications at Pillar Data Systems where he spearheaded the strategic planning, deployment and support of enterprise applications globally. Bharat also served in senior IT management roles at emerging high-tech companies including JDS Uniphase, Scion Photonics and Zaffire. Bharat spent over 4 years in Enterprise Solutions consulting (Oracle Consulting & Trianz Inc.) helping clients in strategic planning, solution architecture & program management.
Bharat is an avid volleyball player and enjoys badminton and golf and keenly follows web2.0 & saas trends and opportunities.
Bharat holds an MS in Computer Science from Wayne State University and a BE in Mech. Engineering from India.
